TreeZone News

An Unexpected Name Change!

First of all, well done to Neil Mulvihill who came to TreeZone today with his mum and was the first person to conquer the new look Buzzard course.  Here they are at the Buzzard's Nest, just about to get hooked up for the big zip ride back down to earth.

Not content with simply completing the course, Neil suggested a 'better name' for one of the new obstacles and we absolutely loved it!

So from now on, the Star Pipes (pictured below - a combination of star platforms, and organ pipes) will be known as the Noughts & Crosses.

Thanks Neil, see you next time!

New challenge.

Good news!

It's been a rocky couple of months with all that the weather has thrown at us but we are finally rebuilt and ready to get going.  We will be open this Sunday (5th Feb) and then everyday for February half term (11th - 19th).

We've had our first play on the new obstacles and they are fab.  A perfect mix of wobbly, tricky, exciting and fun:

The one pictured is the Star Pipes and will really make you stretch and wobble, The Weave will have you joining the ministry of funny walks and the Tyre Platforms give you a heady view straight down to the ground between your feet!

Buzzard Course Update - January 2012

The exciting new plans for the Buzzard course are taking shape and a team of engineers are due to arrive on 23rd January to start making them a reality.  We expect the project to take about 2 weeks so fingers crossed the new look course will be ready for you by February half term.  We will be closed in the meantime, so keep checking in for updates and we'll let you know our re-opening date as soon as we have it!

Christmas Update

The TreeCreeper course will be open during the festive holiday and the price will be £19 per person for 2 laps.  Looks like the snow might be hanging around so wrap up warm and don't forget your gloves!

After the storm damage in the 1st week of December, we're working hard to get the Buzzard course re-opened as soon as possible and starting to get excited about having some brand new obstacles to play on!  Watch this space and we'll let you know when it's ready for you.

Last Minute Day Off This Wednesday?

All schools in Highland are closed this Wednesday (30th November), so to help entertain the kids we are offering MASSIVE DISCOUNTS at TreeZone that day. Flat rate of £15 per person for everyone.  That's over 40% off for adults and over 25% off for under 16s.

And that's not all..... all TreeZoners will get a free tea/coffee/hot chocolate in The Druie Restaurant once they've come back down to earth!

Squirrel Watch!!! Summer 2010

Our bushy tailed residents have finally lost their winter coats and are regular visitors to the TreeZone feeders. Keep an eye out while you are up in the trees! Somehow they seem to switch on their cloaking devices everytime the cameras come out - we'll keep trying and post more pics up here as soon as we get that perfect shot.
